Haepung Agricultural Association took its first step in 2002 and has grown into a specialized processor of fruits, vegetables, and agricultural products. In 2013, the company launched the industry's first dried sweet potato for home shopping and has been steadily producing and delivering as the original manufacturer.

Starting with social enterprise certification in 2013, the company obtained HACCP certification in 2015 and rural convergence workplace certification in 2017. In the same year, it became the first in the industry to apply the MES system by adopting Samsung Smart Factory to produce high-tech agricultural and fishery products.

In addition, in 2020, the company developed and sold sweet potato sticks for the first time in the industry. These were loved by consumers and honored as a successful small business that year.
