Amidst the decline of the sweet potato crop in 2020 and concerns about the

damage to farmers in the region, CEO Shin Gwangseok has developed and

promoted various new products by introducing new types of processed sweet

potato products, and has made significant contributions to the development of

the agri-food industry and related industries.


In addition, we are launching various products for the global market to promote

the excellence of Korean agricultural products worldwide. We are becoming a

global food company to capture the world's taste buds with certified quality and

taste.


In 2002, a 27-year-old man came to the countryside alone, founded Dongnam

Distribution in a small panel warehouse, and started drying anchovies.

In 2004, he transformed the company into Haepung Agricultural Association and

became its CEO. He has been running the company for 22 years as an expert

in the agricultural industry.


He has strived to create the agricultural industry and expand and recognize

local agricultural products, especially in the sweet potato processing sector,

where he developed the industry's first sliced dried sweet potato in 2014 and

launched it on home shopping, making a significant contribution to local

farmers' profits and having a great impact on the related processing industry.
